Janeen Bjork has combined 30 years of experience as a television researcher and presenter, editor and educator, with her love of family history. Her methodology for locating hard-to-find newspaper articles was developed after finding 130 varied accounts of one 1894 murder-suicide.
She will include some history/evolution of significant New England newspapers, as well as exploring
how DNA matches and newspaper research come together in successful family history research. Some of the same principles can be applied to national newspapers.
