Volunteers Needed!

Here's some ways the New Hampshire Society of Genealogists can use your help:

• Help with organization and registration for the two meetings held by NHSOG each year.
• People needed to set up and staff the NHSOG booth at various genealogy conferences.
• Help with registration at the New England Regional Conference in Portland Maine in October.
• Committee chairpersons are needed for a variety of committees; at present some of our Board members are performing the work of two or three committee chairs.  We would like to get others to share the load.
• Help on the New Hampshire Families in 1790 project by taking some of the information submitted and typing it up into proper format.
• Help out on a proposed new N. H. Surnames List project.  A committee is now being formed to make recommendations about collecting and publishing a list of members and their surname interests.
• Help with mailings.
• Do typing and data entry in support of various efforts.

Some of these ideas involve just a few hours a couple of times a year.  Others would involve a few hours of work a month.   Whatever amount of time you have to help us out, we would appreciate hearing from you!
