I'm attempting to find information regarding family background in Exeter, NH. The earliest blood grandparent I am aware of was a William Taylor who probably arrived in America about 1640; Two Taylor families can trace their heritage to that time frame and are refered to as the Hampton Taylor's & the Exeter Taylors. My heratage is connected to both of them, and although much has been recorded of the Hampton's, it has been difficult to locate the same regarding the Exeter families. My great Grandmother was a Hampton Taylor & my great Grandfather was an Exeter Taylor |
