Trying to connect a James Judkins b. 1796 in Fayette Me. Parents were of NH origin and worked as gatherers of roots and herbs for doctors. Their nomadic life resulted in James being left with a Quaker family in Danville VT where he grew up. That line made its way back to NH. I am trying to determine who his parents were. The line is clear back to Danville. It is believed that this line began with a Job Judkins. |
